The end of the Indian Ocean’s High Risk Area

After several years without any attacks by Somali pirates, the High Risk Area in the Indian Ocean was officially removed in January. Maritime operators, however, are still facing various threats and risks in the western Indian Ocean with ongoing concerns over regional stability and the role of various militant groups.
