Risk Intelligence A/S is conducting a FLINC study examining how transport infrastructure across the Norway–Sweden–Finland east–west corridor performs under disruption and crisis scenarios.

In a recent article published by the Kvarken Council, Robin Häggblom, Project Manager at Risk Intelligence, highlighted the need to examine how the entire multimodal transport system functions under different scenarios. While many studies focus on individual parts of the logistics chain, such as port capacity or road availability, this analysis takes a broader perspective of transport resilience.

Häggblom also emphasised that the transport demands associated with large-scale military movements are often underestimated. These requirements must be accommodated alongside continued civilian use of the same infrastructure, including transport for trade, industry, critical goods and services, and everyday societal functions.
