This month, we are taking a look at the ever-increasing issues related to interference with Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS). Both jamming and spoofing have become major problems for maritime stakeholders, with direct implications for seafarers, ship operators and insurers. These concerns are very likely to continue and even increase in the coming years, highlighting the need for comprehensive knowledge around the different types of GNSS interference.
In addition, the report provides a brief update on the maritime implications of the war in Ukraine.
